Its geographical position is exceptional: just steps from the Gorges du Verdon, 30 minutes from Lac de Sainte-Croix with its turquoise waters, and 1h15 from Nice or Marseille airports. The village of Aups — renowned for its markets, olive oil and truffles — is a 5-minute walk from the campsite. Provence wines, local produce, hilltop villages: the setting is ideal for combining relaxation with cultural discovery.

Anne and Philippe designed L’Oasis du Verdon as a place of connection and conviviality: every Sunday, a welcome drink brings holidaymakers together, and friendships form naturally around the pool or a game of pétanque.

Camping L’Oasis du Verdon offers a personalised welcome: a few days before arrival, a preliminary questionnaire helps tailor the experience to each holidaymaker’s needs. The air-conditioned reception, open from 8am to 1pm and 3pm to 8pm, doubles as a tourist office with a wide selection of regional maps and brochures.

A small grocery shop (new for 2026) is open every day from 10am to 8pm right at reception. The Les Terrasses restaurant, nestled under a century-old mulberry tree, offers generous Provençal-inspired cuisine every evening (except Wednesday): artisan pizzas, seafood, market dishes. On Fridays and Saturdays, the terrace pizza evenings are an unmissable highlight of the stay at Camping Oasis Verdon. Bed linen, towels and housekeeping are available as options for an all-inclusive level of comfort.

Activities and surroundings at Camping L’Oasis du Verdon

The Young Molly Club Animations (YMCA) supervises children aged 5 to 12 every day: water games, mini-Olympics, a fancy-dress night-time treasure hunt on Thursday evening, a big choreography show on Friday. For teenagers, beach volleyball, water polo, football and table tennis matches are organised every day in season.

The weekly pétanque tournament on Tuesday evening — teams drawn at random — is a highlight of conviviality that brings the whole campsite together. Outside, the PNR du Verdon nature park offers exceptional conditions for rafting in the Gorges, paddleboarding on Lac de Sainte-Croix, hiking and cycle touring amid lavender fields and Provençal vineyards.
