Camping de la Plage Bénodet Luxury campsite in Bénodet

Camping de la Plage is a 4-star campsite in Bénodet, a seaside resort in South Finistère (southern Brittany), set in wooded grounds 300 m from the sea. Le Trez beach is 400 m away, Le Letty and Saint-Gilles beaches 500 m, and the town centre 800 m: everything is within walking distance.

Rentals are mobile homes of 24 to 40 m², with 2 or 3 bedrooms for up to 6 people, all with a shower room, terrace and TV, as well as chalets with 1 to 3 bedrooms. A 31 m² mobile home is adapted for guests with reduced mobility, with an access ramp and an accessible bathroom.

Campers have 160 flat, grassy, marked-out pitches of around 100 m² for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Motorhome owners can also use a hard-standing area with 80 m² pitches and a waste and water service point, at a reduced rate for short stays. Dogs and cats are welcome on the pitches.

In July and August, the campsite runs a bar, a takeaway service and a grocery shop for everyday needs. Bénodet town centre, with its shops, crêperies and seafood restaurants, is 800 m away.

On site, a launderette with washing machines and dryers runs on tokens sold at reception. Bed linen can be hired on request. Motorhome owners have a service point for emptying waste and filling up with water.

In July and August, a kids’ club welcomes 4 to 11-year-olds in the mornings, with games and fun activities; sign up at reception. Evening entertainment is also on offer for families in summer.

Bénodet is easy to explore on foot from the campsite: Le Trez beach with its beach club and catamaran hire, Saint-Gilles beach and its rocks for rock-pooling, the unspoilt Le Letty lagoon, and Le Coq beach facing the Odet estuary. The marina is 1.5 km away and the casino 600 m.

From the harbour, boats sail to the Glénan islands or up the Odet river. The resort’s sailing and surf schools run courses, and waymarked coastal paths are ideal for walking.
